Q6:  What is the vinyl-liner pool made of?
A:   The wall structure is galvanized steel employing a manufacturing process called STAKE-LOK, a rivetless/ weldless system, that protects against rust and corrosion as the galvanized coating is kept intact.  We use poured concrete for the collar (perimeter of pool) and the shallow-end floor -- a much stronger material than vermiculite -- and we use a gunite mix that is hand-troweled for the deep-end floor.  The entire pool, except the bowl, is covered with foam to ensure a smooth feel, and we supply a 28/20 mil virgin vinyl liner in your choice of patterns.

Q7:  What is included with my pool?
A:   aquacraft POOLS includes the filter, pump, skimmer(s), returns, all plumbing, start-up chemicals, and all necessary maintenance equipment.  We also provide you with operating and maintenance instructions. Vinyl-liner pools also include stairs, a light, handrail, and a ladder. Fiberglass pools come equipped with stairs and options including tile and fiberoptic lighting. Other popular options for either type are heaters, spill-over spas, and saftey covers.

Q8:  How do I decide between fiberglass, vinyl-liner, and gunite pools?
A:   A vinyl-liner pool by aquacraft POOLS is a quality inground pool with economy in mind, that is installed quickly by our in-house crew, comes in virtually any shape, retains its beauty for many years, and is easy to maintain. You will have no problems with staining, cracking, loss of tiles, or roughness (calcification), all common occurances with gunite.

Fiberglass pools generally install in one week, last a lifetime, require minimal maintenance and chemicals, can be customized with tile, lighting and water displays, and will add beauty and elegance to your backyard. With the reduced use of chemicals and no need for costly repairs, a fiberglass pool installed by aquacraft POOLS is an economical investment for your home and will bring trouble free enjoyment to your family.

Q10:  I heard that fiberglass pools are only good in warm climates. Will it crack?
A:   Fiberglass pools have been installed in Canada and the northern US for over thirty (30) years. The Aloha-Hawaiian pool installed by aquacraft POOLS is built with strength and flexibility, and will expand and contract with the earth, but does not crack. You can be assured that our fiberglass pools will withstand our harsh winters and, with proper care, always look new.
